Dehradun: Ghummakkad Narain – the Travelling Literature Festival reached out to over 600 children on the last day of the festival at the Heritage School in Dehradun on Saturday. During the two-day event, sessions were held in different city schools. On the last day, Doon-based historian Roshen Dalal was among those who spoke with students and addressed their queries. Author Roopal Kewalya talked to children about empathy while Archana & Shruti Garodia conducted a short history quiz for the participants. The festival which was started in 2010 in the memory of Thakur Vishva Narain Singh, the first Braille editor NIVH, and a Soviet Land Nehru Awardee. will now travel to Allahabad, Darjeeling & Gangtok.
