THREE-DAY THEATRE FEST AS TRIBUTE TO SANJAY BHOSKAR IN CITY FROM DEC 27

Bhopal : To give a tribute to the noted playwright Sanjay Bhoskar, a theatre fest will be organised in the city from Wednesday.

The three-day theatre festival would begin here from December 27 at Shaheed Bhavan from 7 pm.

The fest is being organised by the Ekta Madhya Pradesh Government Employees Theatre Troupe to pay a tribute to the Sanjay Bhoskar. It is noteworthy that the fest is being organised under Guru Shishya Parampara.

The fest will have a kick start from Wednesday with the Hindi play Mamu Manchale. The play is being directed by Sumit Diwedi and would be presented by Ekta theatre group, Bhopal.

To mark the second day of the festival on Thursday, a Hindi play Ashwathama will be staged at Shaheed Bhavan. Ashwathama is a play which shares a dialogue between Draupati and Ashwathama. This play will also be directed by Sumit Diwedi.

The festival will be concluded with on December 29 i.e. Friday with the Hindi play ‘Bapu Qaid Me Hain’ directed by Sumit Diwedi.

While talking about the festival, director of Ekta theatre group Sumit Diwedi said, “This festival is being organized in the memory of Sanjay Bhoskar.

Moreover as many as 35 people from different backgrounds who are interested in theatres are a part of theatre festival. We all work in different departments and come from different backgrounds and have prepared the theatre festival just with a motive to entertain audience.”
