Punekars enjoy an evening of Hindi poems and Urdu shayari

With Pune being home to quite a bunch of literature fans, it was no surprise that the Kavya-Kalash Kavi Samellan was a huge success among Punekars. The gathering consisted of twelve poets who recited poetry in Hindi and Urdu language ranging a variety of topics.

The poets performing were Ashish Sukla ‘sajal’, Satyam srivastav, Kritarth Upadhyay, Prashant Katyayan, Kamalesh Biswas, Anand Singh, Archana Shroff, Arohi Shrivastav, YK Singh, Siddhartha Priyadarshi, Sadanand Bedre, and Niranjan Pednekar. The evening consisted of poems about life, love, struggles of women in today’s world and the works were presented in the form of ghazals, shers and free style poetry.

The event was enjoyed by all present at the venue as the poems touched into their personal lives as well. It ended with a big appluase from the audience.
