Bokaro: Eminent poets mesmerised the audience with their poetry and poetic expressions present in good number at Bokaro Steel City during the Akhil Bhartiya Kavi Sammelan organised in a jointly with Rashtriya Kavi Sangam and Shaswat City at Bokaro Club on Saturday night.
The poetic extravaganza opened its vistas to the audience with the inauguration the event by garlanding the idol of Goddess Saraswati and lighting the lamp.
Noted poets including Dr Ashok Batra (Sonipath), Sudip Bhola (Jabalpur), Dinesh Deoghria (Patiyala), Manoj Mishra (Delhi), Pankaj Jha (Deoghar), Ravindra Ravi, Anant Mahendra, Brajesh Pandey including others presented strings of poetry tied up with beautiful words and insights.
All of them were crowd-puller and equally talented; their performance went down very well with the audience. Many of the poems recited, carried a social message; focused on changing socio-cultural patterns.
Beside others, Kartik S Superintendent of Police Bokaro, Executive Magistrate Prabhas Dutta, MD Shaswat City V Jha, Jagdish Mittal President Rashtriya Kavi Sangam, MK Sharma, Heeralal Gupta, VK Gupta, Manoj Kumar, Arun Pathak President of organizing committee were present on the occasion.
