Nonagenarian Gujarati poet Niranjan Bhagat breathed his last on Thursday. Born in 1926, he died after a brief illness. He suffered a brain stroke recently. Known for his work in Gujarati literature, Bhagat has written over a 100 poems in English language. He was awarded Sahitya Akademy Award in 1999.
