History to hold centre stage at 9th Goa Arts and Literature Festival

Panaji, Nov 29 (UNI) The subject of history will hold centre stage at the ninth edition of the Goa Arts and Literature Festival (GALF) to be held at the International Centre Goa (ICG) from December 6 to 8, 2018.

According to a statement here on Thursday, the event is being organised and hosted by the ICG in association with the Goa Writers.

Noted authors, David Gilmour from the UK, Deborah Baker from the USA and Ramchandra Guha from India will be releasing their latest history based books during the festival.

GALF 2018 will be inaugurated by two of India’s most celebrated writers, eminent novelist and writer, Shashi Deshpande and the multi-disciplinary literary son of the soil, Jerry Pinto.

The inaugural function will be held at Maquinez Palace in the city at 1700 hrs on December 6.
