LUDHIANA: The book on poetry “Roohdarian” penned down by Canada based poet Habby Saran was unveiled during a function in Ludhiana on Sunday. The book was released by District Punjab Relations Officer (DPRO) Ludhiana Prabhdeep Singh Nathowal, Profeseor Harjit Singh Dhaliwal of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) and several prominent personalities.
Chief guest on the occasion, Prabhdeep Singh while praising the poet said that Habby Saran has mentioned about the stories and problems of a person who went abroad after leaving his village. He said that the poet was presented the true picture of Punjabi NRI’s through his poetry.
On this occasion, Ravinder Kaur Dhaliwal from PAU, Dr. Jasvir Singh Grewal, Shinderpal Kaur Grewal, Kuldeep Singh Khangura, Manjit Singh, Sarpanch Gurmail Singh, Ashwani Kumar Sharma, Sukhwinder Singh, Master Amarjit Singh, Karampal Singh, Anmol Pandher, Dr. Amar Singh besides several others.
