Source : Times of India NEW DELHI: Literature lovers, rejoice! A galaxy of award-winning, bestselling writers from India and around the world will dazzle and delight bibliophiles at the fourth Times Litfest Delhi on December 1 and 2 at the India Habitat Centre. Spread over more than 70 enriching and entertaining sessions, the festival will also offer a separate children’s section for workshops and storytelling. There’s a live doodling session too. You can also bring a book of your own and take back another in a Book Exchange program. Times Litfest Delhi, presented by Rajnigandha, will host Hallgrímur Helgason and Kjell Ola Dahl, both masters of Nordic noir. Helgason is an Icelandic painter-turned-writer whose best-known work, ‘101 Reykjavik’, also became a superhit movie. Norwegian writer Dahl has penned the popular Oslo Detectives Series. Crime fiction fans can enjoy engaging with cop-turned-novelist Clare Mackintosh, whose award-winning, ‘I Let You Go’, was considered the fastest-selling novel by a new crime writer in 2015. There’s more. Australian body language and relationship experts, Barbara and Allan Pease, who co-wrote the wildly bestselling, ‘Why Men Don’t Listen and Women Can’t Read Maps’, are likely to regale the audience in their characteristic witty style. Dublinbased Sean O’ Reilly, the noted author of the short story collection, ‘Curfew’, will also be there. The list of Indian participants is equally impressive and includes Shashi Tharoor, Amish Tripathi, Meghna Gulzar, Amitabha Bagchi, Anita Nair, Arunava Sinha, Naina Lal Kidwai, Prasoon Joshi, Pavan Verma, Preeti Shenoy, Ravinder Singh, Sarnath Banerjee, Stephen Alter, Anand Neelakantan and Mallika Sarabhai. Make a note of the dates. Under the warm winter sun, this is going to be a real feast for everyone in search of healthy food for thought. Times Litfest Delhi, presented by Rajnigandha, will be held on December 1 & 2, 11am onwards at India Habitat Center, Lodhi Road. Entry is free.
