Bhopal | Monday, 16 April 2018 : All India Literary Symposium of the Open Books Online was organised at Hindi Bhavan here on Sunday. At the symposium three sessions were held.
To begin with the event, the first session of the programme a souvenir “Shawlpi”, which was edited by Mithilesh Wamankar, was released which was followed with lecture sessions. During the lecture session, Shashi Bansal spoke on the subject ‘Short Stories’ in which he gave example of a short story ‘Sagar Me Gagar’. He said that short stories are a great expression of subtle sensations.
In the lecture session held on Ghazal, Azam said that in order to reveal ideas in ghazals, deeper information is needed. Lyricist Dinesh Prabhat expressed his views on the concept of Hindi songs.
The event was chaired by Zaheer Qureshi. Addressing he symposium he outlined the mutual relationship between Hindi and Urdu Ghazal. The chief guest of the programme, Samar Kabir, described it as a rich textbook of literature by distinguishing the tradition of learning and teaching online books.
Rajesh Kumari Raj, the senior writer from Dehradun was the chief guest of the second session of the programme. She described short stories as a very delicate mode, which is born from the womb of anomalies. In this session Vinay Kumar, Muzaffar Iqbal Siddiqui, Pratibha Pandey, Naina Kanitkar, Lata Agarwal, Sheikh Shehzad Usmani. read short stories.
Poetry was recited by poets under the chairmanship of Zaheer Qureshi in the third session of the programme. Later, Tilakraj Kapoor overwhelmed the audience with his ghazals, Mithilesh Wamankar was appreciated for his marvelous Dohas.
Apart from this, Giriraj Bhandari (Bhilai), Sunita Lulla (Hyderabad), Ashok Nirmal (Bhopal), Rajesh Kumari Raj (Dehradun), Nilesh Shevgaonkar (Indore), Dr. Vimal Kumar Sharma, Mamta Bajpai, Motilal Aelamchandra, Harivalabh Sharma, Seema Sharma, Amjad Khan, Ashok Rakhale narrated their compositions. Many senior writers were present in the programme.
