A year-long celebration will mark the 50th anniversary of Man-Booker Prize in 2018. The foundation is going to be active for several International activities to indulge their audience and spread a word about their rich literary heritage around the globe.
Man-Booker Foundation aims to inspire the English-speaking world to write and read more for the next 50 years.

Helena Kennedy, commented, ‘The Man-Booker Prize is a banner for the power of books. It is a barometer of our creative vitality. In this landmark 50th year, we will be celebrating great writers and brilliant books so that we can draw more and more readers into the wonder of literature and the joys of readership. The right book can be a liberator, a healing potion or a stimulant better than any drug.’
The festival will be held from 6th to 8th July in 2018 and the tickets will be available from February 2018.
Man-Booker Prize has also teamed up with the Literary Festival across the globe including The Jaipur Literary Festival, Hay Festival Cartagena de Indias, Trinidad and
Tobago BOCAS Literary Festival and Hay-on-Wye.
Born in 1968, the Booker Prize was conceived to enrich the English-language equivalent of the French Prix Goncourt. It was later grown to a a full-fledged foundation by Tom Maschler and
Graham C. Greene. In 2002, it transferred the prize to an independent charity, Booker Prize Foundation. The prize became the 1st prize that year for Fiction.
Man Group was recognised as a partner that mirrored the quality, integrity and longevity of the Booker Prize.
