HT-Nielsen top 10: Paulo Coehlo’s The Alchemist rules fiction list

Here’s your weekly digest of the best-selling fiction, non-fiction and children’s books.

HT Nelson Paulo Coehlo’s The Alchemist continues its streak of being on top of the week’s bestselling fiction list. Ravinder Singh’s Will You Still Love Me? too retains its spot at number two. On the third and fourth position are Dan Brown’s Origin and Chetan Bhagat’s One Indian Girl. This is followed by Amish Tripathi’s The Immortals of Meluha. Top 10 In the non-fiction list, Mark Manson’s The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck continues to lead, while Bhanumathi Narasimhan’s Gurudev too remains firm on second position. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Exam Warriors and Yuval Noah Harari’s Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind are the third and fourth books on the list. Kamlesh D Patel’s The Heartfulness Way is at number five. Coming to the list of best-selling children’s books by international publishers, at number one position, Jeff Kinney’s Wimpy Kid book, The Getaway, is clearly the favourite this week too. Next come JK Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. John Green’s Turtles All the Way Down and Sudha Murthy’s Grandma’s Bag of Stories too remain unchanged at number four and five.
Top 10 A
Rungeen Singh’s The Best of Tenali Raman and The Best of Panchatantra occupy the top two positions in the list of best-selling children’s books in Indian publishing. Last week’s lead, Ruskin Bond’s Great Stories for Children, is now at number three. It’s followed by 365 Panchatantra Stories and 365 Bedtime Stories respectively.
