HT-Nielsen top 10: Miss Malini’s To The Moon new entrant on nonfiction list

Here’s your weekly digest of the best-selling fiction, non-fiction and children’s books.

Nielsen After being at the second spot for a long time, Paulo Coelho’s The Alchemist has displaced Dan Brown’s Origin from the top position on the bestselling fiction list. Chetan Bhagat’s One Indian Girl comes third, followed by Durjoy Datta’s The Boy With a Broken Heart and Amish Tripathi’s Sita. Book List Narasimhan Bhanumati’s book on the life of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Gurudev, is a new entrant and the top selling book on the non-fiction list. Dr Joseph Murphy’s The Power of Your Subconscious Mind is at number two, followed by Napolean Hill’s Think and Grow Rich and Malini Agarwal’s To the Moon, another new entrant. Yuval Noah Harari’s Sapiens is at number five. Jeff Kinney’s new Wimpy Kid book, The Getaway, continues to be at the top on the list of bestselling children’s books by international publishers, followed by JK Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and John Green’s Turtles All The Way Down. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is at number four, and Geronimo Stilton’s Dragon of Fortune at the fifth spot. Book List1 365 Bedtime Stories is at the first position on the list of bestselling children’s books in Indian publishing. Ruskin Bond’s The Blue Umbrella takes the second position, followed by Rungeen Singh’s The Best of Panchatantra , 365 Panchatantra Stories and Ruskin Bond’s Great Stories for Children.
