Jammu: A Dogri Kavi Sammelan was organised to celebrate Madhukar Day by the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages in collaboration with Duggar Manch on Tuesday. ND Jamwal, a renowned writer, expressed gratitude towards the academy and said celebrating the legends of the region at their native places was an appreciable gesture that needs to be applauded. Kehri Singh Madhukar was a prominent Dogri poet of the state. Jamwal also said Dogri poetry of the present times had the worth to compete at the national level.
