‘BIBLIO’, THE LITERATURE FEST BEGINS AT SAGAR PUBLIC SCHOOL

Source : The Pioneer Bhopal |Wednesday, 18 April 2018 : Sagar Public School began its two-day ‘Biblio’- The Literature Fest with great enthusiasm and fervor on Wednesday. The Literature Festival will witness presence of acclaimed and emerging writers, eminent speakers and editors to discuss and share trends of the emerging new forms of literature. ‘Biblio’ aims to provide an educational opportunity with multiple avenues to stimulate the intellectual and creative facets of students. It comprises of sessions from eminent writers like Payal Kapadia, Deepa Agrawal, Seema Raizada, Nishant Upadhyay, Simi Shrivastava, Ritu Lalit, Arghya Kamal Mitra etc. The fest commenced with lighting of ceremonial lamp by Payal Kapadia, Sudhir Kumar Agrawal, Chairman Sagar Group and Principal Pankaj Sharma. On the occasion, KK Dubey, Director HR, Jaishree Kanwar, Principal Sagar Public School, Gandhi Nagar, Madhubala Chouhan, Principal, Sagar Public School, Rohit Nagar Principal Shradha Kunango, Vice Principal, governing members of Sagar Public School, School Principals, distinguished guests, teachers, media and literature lovers were present on the occasion. A graceful and knowledge sharing session began with ‘Orareur’ with speaker Payal Kapadia who hailed the role of literature,  emerging trends on various forms of literature and its radically different interpretation in modern India using her book Horrid High. She also conducted a workshop on story writing with students on conversion of thoughts into small stories. Deepa Agarwal engaged students in World of Dreams and conducted a creative writing workshop mesmerising with storytelling session. She guided the students on how books can help them in into a great thinker and eventually a great conqueror. She motivated the students to maintain their own library and directed to write. The students got engrossed in The Titans Express which had presence of Editors from prominent newspapers who guided students on meeting every day challenge and sorted their queries. They shared their experiences and channeled students to read and write daily and share their experiences and knowledge through the power of words to create a network. Students were introduced and exposed to the World of Literary characters Kaleidoscope which enthralled them in to the world of characters and illustrations in which various schools participated. The competition was judged by Seema Raizada, who said that Characters inspires us and play a very important role in literature.
