PRANAAM PAWAS: A POETIC EVENT ORGANISED TO WELCOME MONSOON

Bhopal |Tuesday, 17 July 2018 : Phir Khule Akaash me Judde Ghataon Ke, Phir Hawaon Ke Dupatte Ho Gaye Jheene, a poetic event centered on creations about monsoon ‘Pranaam Pawas’ concluded in city. The event was organised by the Dushyant Kumar Memorial Manuscript Museum to welcome the monsoon season.

The event was presided over by the senior writer and poet, Zaheer Qureshi. Ramesh Tiwari, Mamta Tiwari and Anu Sapan were present as special guests.

The event began with the recitation of poetry by Yatindranath Rahi welcomed the season with poem ‘Khadi Hai Dwar Par Baarish, Karo Swagat Karo Swagat’. On the other hand, Zaheer Qureshi recited   “Phir Khule Akaash me Judde Ghataon Ke,

Phir Hawaon Ke Dupatte Ho Gaye Jheene.”

Mamta Tiwari’s composition was ‘Barsaat Ki Pehli Boond ko Tapti Dharti Par Gir Ke Fanaa Hona Hai.’  Anu Sapan, the renowned music composer mesmerized the audience with Lo Phir Aa Gaya Barish Ka Mausam, Phir aa gayi tumhari Yaad’.

‘Kali Ko Chidiyion Ke Saath Bhanwre Bhejte Saugat, Baarish Ka Mausam Aa Gaya’ was performed by Ashok Nirmal. Mamta Vajpayee also performed her poetry before the audience.  Poets like Harivalbha Sharma, Suresh Akash, Dharmendra Solanki, Vipin Bihari Vajpayee, Vimal Kumar Sharma, Arvind Jain, Gokul Soni, Chitransh Waghmare, Kishan Tiwari, Mahesh Agrawal, Ashok Gautam, Anup Dhhamane, Kumar Chandan, Siraj Ahmed, Sharad Vyas, Purushottam Tiwari, Karanjit Singh Kukreja, Manish Srivastava, Anoop Kumar, Shrini Pramila Jharbade, Manorama Chopra Madhya Shukla also recited rain-centric compositions.

While informing about another event director of the museum Rajurkar Raj said that on September 1 and 2, a two-day programme will be held on the occasion of Dushyant Kumar Jayanti. Marking the first adebate of school students will be held. On September 2, Prakash Sonalvalkar of Ujjain will give a musical performance of Dushyant Kumar Ghazals.
